Why do you love the Modo community?

It feels like home away from home. The energy is warm, inviting and contagious. When I first started coming to modo over 2 years ago I was hooked after my first class and came every day for 33 days in a row. I fell in love with the practice, the community, and the energy.

Why do you teach yoga?

I do not teach yoga yet. I am planning on attending a Modo training in the near future!

What yoga certifications do you have?

I do have my Group Fitness Instructor Certification from the American Council on Exercise.

If you were an animal, what would it be?

I would be our dog Lucy for sure! She is sweet, lovable and sensitive. She lives a great life here with the Redcay’s! Plus I am told we kind of look alike 🙂

You have one day completely to yourself in Columbus.  What do you do?

I would head to Modo for a great sweaty yoga class first thing in the morning. Then head home to drink a hot fresh cup of coffee. I would take my time getting ready then head out to Hudson 29 for brunch with my Family (Mike, Ruby and Jack). After brunch we would head out to a local Art festival to walk around, browse the art and hang out. My Husband, Mike, and I would end our evening with dinner and drinks at the Avenue and then an outdoor concert at Express Live to unwind, chill, and relax.

What’s your favorite yoga pose and why?

Warrior II. I feel strong, confident, and challenged at the same time. In this pose I am always reminded to deepen my breath as I sink deeper into the pose.

You can only eat at one Columbus restaurant for the rest of your life.  What is it?

North Star! I crave that Buddha Bowl!
